There will also be a discount for electric vehicles from February next year, the Ministry of Transport in Paris announced on Friday, December 2. For ten or more commutes on a route, the discount is increased from 30 to 40 percent.<\/p>\n<p>In general, however, the toll will be increased by 4.75 percent, but for electric cars there will be a discount of five percent on the new rates, so they will be spared from the toll increase on balance, the Ministry of Transport announced.
