Disposition: A1 closed between Bad Oldesloe and Reinfeld
Between March 10 and 13, Highway 1 will be completely closed. The reason given by Autobahn GmbH is the demolition of the bridge at the Reinfeld junction.
Users of the A1 must register from the 10th to the March 13 to be prepared for delays. The highway will be fully closed between Bad Oldesloe and Reinfeld during this time, as the federal highway GmbH on Tuesday, Feb. 14, announced. This is because the bridge over the A1 at the Reinfeld junction is being demolished.
The closure will begin at 9 p.m. March 10 and is expected to end at 5 a.m. March 13, a spokeswoman said. Preparations for demolition are scheduled to begin as early as March 6.
During the full closure, northbound traffic will be diverted via the U9 and U11 on-demand detours from the Bad Oldesloe junction. In the opposite direction, traffic will be routed from Reinfeld via the U12 to the Bad Oldesloe junction. According to Autobahn GmbH, the bridge, which dates back to the 1970s, needs to be replaced due to massive damage to the tendons and concrete.
