The Bavarian Ministry of Transport and the Logistik Initiative Bayern are offering the “Logistics is female” award for the second time. The focus here is on equal opportunities and the compatibility of career and family.
Just over a year ago, the Bavarian State Ministry of Housing, Construction and Transport and Logistik Initiative Bayern launched their “Logistics is female” competition. This year they are offering the award for the second time.
“I hope that the initiative will get people and companies thinking, thinking about what can be helpful so that logistics remains or becomes attractive as a field of work,” says Julia Boppert, chair of the “Logistics is Female” advisory board of the CNA association.
Once again this year, logistics experts and companies can apply for the award until May 20. Or they can suggest suitable people and companies. The award is intended to recognize them for their courageous actions in the context of equal opportunities and work-life balance.
This year, the prize will be awarded in four categories:
- inspiration | is female
The category recognizes women who have shown special commitment to gender-sensitive issues or who can set an example through their career or courageous actions. - strategy | is female
The award recognizes companies that have distinguished themselves in a special way through exemplary commitment to gender-sensitive issues. - courage | is female
The award recognizes individuals, companies, institutions or organizations that are particularly committed to the topic of “gender sensitivity” through activities or projects. - career | is female
This category honors individuals, companies, institutions or organizations that have made a special contribution to equal opportunities in qualification, education and training.Further information on the initiative and application can be found at: www.logistik-ist-weiblich.de . On July 6, 2023, the winners will receive their prizes at a ceremony.
